COUNSELING FOR

LIFE TRANSITIONS

Sometimes the hardest part of change is figuring out who you are on the other side of it.

Life transitions don't always happen because something went wrong.

Sometimes they're the result of something you've wanted for a long time—a new career, marriage, becoming a parent, moving, or reaching a new stage of adulthood.

Other times, change is something you never asked for—a breakup, divorce, loss, job change, or unexpected turn in life.

Either way, even positive change can leave you feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself.

You can be grateful for where you are and still struggle with the transition.

When Life Doesn't Feel Familiar Anymore

Transitions can challenge the way we've understood ourselves and our lives.

You may find yourself thinking:

  • I don't know what I want anymore.

  • I thought I'd feel happier by now.

  • I don't recognize myself.

  • Everyone else seems ahead of me.

  • I know I need to move forward, but I don't know how.

  • Who am I now?

  • What do I actually want for my life?

Sometimes what you're experiencing isn't simply stress. You're adjusting to a new version of your life—and possibly a new version of yourself.

Common Life Transitions

I work with women navigating transitions such as:

  • Entering adulthood or adjusting to life after college

  • Dating, marriage, or changes in a relationship

  • Becoming a parent or adjusting to motherhood

  • Breakups, separation, or divorce

  • Career changes, burnout, or job loss

  • Relocation or major changes in lifestyle

  • Grief and loss

  • Changes in family roles or relationships

  • Questions about identity, purpose, or what comes next

Finding Your Way Through Change

Therapy can give you space to slow down and understand what this transition is bringing up for you.

Together, we can explore what you're grieving, what you're learning about yourself, what you may need now, and what you want your next chapter to look like.

My approach draws from AEDP, EFIT, narrative therapy, somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care. Rather than simply helping you "get back on track," we can explore whether this transition is inviting you to create a life that feels more authentic to who you are becoming.

You don't have to have the next chapter figured out.

Sometimes you just need a space to make sense of where you've been, where you are, and where you want to go from here.

If you're navigating a major life transition and finding it difficult to move forward on your own, I'd be happy to connect with you.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next step.
